We used the EJEAS FBIM for our regional futsal league, and it was fantastic. The referees loved how easy it was to stay connected without interference. The coverage range was perfect for our indoor courts, and the devices paired effortlessly. It made managing matches smoother and more efficient. We'll definitely be using these again next season.

A great option for equestrians

I’ve been using these referee headsets for a few years now. They are inexpensive compared to systems marketed to equestrians (i.e. CeeCoach) and IME opinion more reliable and easier to use. Battery lasts a long time and they are good over a much greater distance than a dressage court (I often lesson in a grass driving arena that’s four times the size of a dressage arena and coverage is great even when I’m at the far corner from my coach). They come with an armband but you can also get a belt clip for them or just stick them in a vest/jacket pocket. The headsets are wired and since I don’t love having the sound shoved in my ear I use a small binder clip to hold the ear speaker to my helmet harness. I can hear well and it’s easy to remove after warmup at shows. Very happy with the system and the price.

There is a short learning curve about pairing but once paired they just work and work well.

Excellent comm system for referees

I purchased these radios in the early part of the Summer ‘24 soccer season. I work as a ref for both PIAA high school games and USSF youth games. My introduction to to these radios was when I first started working PIAA games. It was an eye-opener using radios for the first time instead of trying to communicate with my partner (PIAA/NFHS games usually use the dual-referee system) with eyes and hand signals, we could communicate what we saw real-time. I purchased my own set because the chapter didn’t have enough radios to go around and I wanted to ensure I always had a set. I have now started incorporating the radios in my youth games as well, bringing in the third radio so the center and ARs can all communicate.

Others have described at length the pairing process. It is not always the most intuitive process, but once paired they work quickly and easily. Significantly, the radios are generally waterproof. I reffed a four game JV tournament and a varsity game in rain. Not, heavy, heavy downpour but definitely wet. No issues at all.

I have used these for about two months now an average of three games a week and have been thrilled with them, especially for the cost! My brother, an assignor and referee for women’s collegiate lacrosse, has decided to buy a set to help break in new lacrosse officials based on my experience with soccer.

The radios easily have the range of a regulation sized field and the batteries seem good enough for 2-3 games consecutively. I routinely used them for back to back JV and Varsity games, not turning off in between, and never worried about them dying.
